Writer, Producer In 1981, Kim started her career in the pioneering stages of computer special effects. As a writer, producer and editor, she has been involved over the past twenty years in many aspects of production from the entertainment world of film and television; to commercial production for product advertising, promotion and consumer launches; to the world of multi-media and corporate communications. In addition, Kim has become known for applying her comedy writing talents to all the above arenas. After winning several awards for her corporate video productions for the automotive industry, Kim wrote and produced comedy radio spots; numerous network promos for ABC; and press release materials, marketing, promotion and web site content for such products as Tim Allen Signature Tools. n addition to writing for the ABC network sitcom, "Home Improvement," Kim has collaborated with Tim Allen over the past eleven years working as his ghostwriter, joke writer and speechwriter. She has developed and written a wide array of material for Tim including his stand-up, award show appearances, public engagements, press releases and his numerous talk show appearances including The Tonight Show, Letterman, Rosie ODonnell, and opening comedy sketches for Oprah. She collaborated with Tim on his two best selling books, "Dont Stand Too Close to a Naked Man" and "Im Not Really There," and developed two sitcom pilots while heading up television development for his company, Boxing Cat Productions. Kim has also written for Universal on their feature film, "For Richer or Poorer," headed the creative writing team for Comedy Centrals "Small Doses" and worked on creative marketing projects for Waner Bros. She has been published in numerous magazines, and directed and co-wrote a one-man show which was performed at the HBO Work Space. Not only is Kim a musician and composer, she also performs stand-up comedy and was a recent guest speaker at the Montreal Comedy Festival.
